This 5-hour interactive workshop investigates action research and reflective practice used by educators to improve professional practice and instil a responsive, cyclic and improvement-focused culture. Action research enables professionals to drive improvement in areas of priority for themselves, their teams, students, and their institutions. The workshop provides participants with exposure to research skills as well as time to explore and share ideas across different scenarios before developing a plan of action related to their own Learning and Teaching priorities.

The workshop will be delivered by professional staff from ANU's Centre for Learning and TeachingDuring the afternoon session participants will work in groups to develop ideas for action research projects relevant to their Learning and Teaching context.

This PL can be delivered to individual organisations as closed cohorts by request and is highly effective in this format.
