Course Delivery

Most Community Courses are delivered face-to-face while some are delivered ‘live’ online via Zoom.

Internet and connectivity issues with online courses
For our online courses, you will be sent, via email, instructions on how to participate in the course a minimum of 24 hours before course commencement. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and to test your computer set-up prior to class commencement. If you have issues connecting, please contact us for assistance as soon as possible (email us at clt@anu.edu.au).

Course Participation

  • Courses are designed for adults. Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.
  • Online sessions may be recorded and used as educational material. These recordings are NOT used for marketing purposes and are not publicly available. Students enrolled in a course may be able to access Zoom recordings through the student portal.
  • Places in courses will be allocated in order of enrolment.
  • Payment is required at the time of enrolment.
  • Discounts / vouchers must be applied at the point of enrolment. Discounts will not be processed retrospectively.
  • No pro rata fees apply.
  • Courses are run subject to sufficient enrolment numbers and will be cancelled in instances where the minimum number is not met.
  • CE reserves the right to amend or cancel courses at our absolute discretion.
  • CE reserves the right to cancel the enrolment of a minor (under 18 years) and remove them from the course. A full refund will apply in these circumstances.

Participation Requirements

  • Students that do not adhere to these requirements will not be able to participate in class.

Certificate of Completion

Students who complete Community Courses will be issued a certificate of completion / participation. Community Courses courses do NOT include any assessment components, although you may be required to complete non-assessable learning tasks during your course.

  • CE is not responsible for loss or unauthorised use of gift certificates
  • All gift certificate voucher codes are single use only.
